If you join the launch list, we store your email address so we can email you about the new Nuffinbutfishing website. That’s it. No cookies, no tracking profiles, no selling your data — ever. Unsubscribe with one click any time.

What we collect and why

Your email address — only if you type it into the signup form. We use it to tell you when the site launches and to send the occasional newsletter, exactly as described next to the form. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.

Anonymous visit counts — we use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (Vercel Analytics) to see aggregate numbers like how many people visited. It cannot identify you and stores nothing on your device.

Standard server logs — our hosting provider briefly records technical request data (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and running. These rotate automatically.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. That’s why there’s no cookie banner.

Where your data lives

Email addresses are stored with MailerLite, our email platform, which processes data under GDPR safeguards. The site is hosted on Vercel. We don’t share your email with anyone else, and we never sell it.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, or until the launch list is retired. When you unsubscribe, MailerLite suppresses your address so we can’t accidentally email you again.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent — the unsubscribe link does that instantly, or email support@nuffinbutfishing.com and we’ll sort it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled something, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
